+ Vocabulary:T provides Sts with words of Leisure activities.

+ Grammar: –Verb of liking + Gerunds.

Verb of liking + to-infinitives.

Read for general specific information about the positive and negative effects of using computers.

2.Skill :

– By the end of this period, students will know more about the Leisure activities they or their friends do in their spare time.

-Develop all four skills.

3. Attitude: Sts know more about positive and negative effects of using computers. The students study actively,love their school

II. Teaching aids:

T: Textbook, laptop, lesson plan, chalk, projector.St: Textbook.

III. Procedures :

1.Organisation (1’):Good morning.

How are you?/ Who’s absent today?

> T sets the scene and introduces the new lesson.

– Prepare photos or magazine cut-out about some popular leisure activities.

– Asks sts to describe the photos.

– Asks them to guess which activities T enjoys doing.

– Encourage sts to work in pairs.

Task 1. Listen and read

– Introduces Mai, Phuc, and Nick in the pictures and the situation

– Asks sts to look at the pictures and ask:

1.who are they?

2.where are they?

3.what are they doing?

– Ask sts to open their books to the picture.

– plays the CD and asks sts to listen and read aloud the conversation

– Asks sts to read the dialogue

a. Circle the correct answer.

– Asks sts to read the dialogue again then have them work independently.

– Allows them to share their answers before discussing as a class.

– T gives time then gets feedback.

– T calls sts to read loudly then corrects mistakes.

b . Read the dialogue again and find information to explain your choice.

– Go through the list of activites mentioned. Encouragee sts to explain what they are and to give eg.
